A New View Camden
The City of Camden
Camden, New Jersey
“A New View Camden” was a temporary public art instillation placed on 6 illegal dumping sites. As winners of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge, the City of Camden sought to increase civic pride and tranform the perception of Camden through art that empowers its residents. This project in collaboration with Camden Community Partnerships, Camden Fireworks and Rutgers Camden Center for the Arts uses a variety of reused and sustainably sourced materials. The venues were chosen due to their location in highly trafficked and residential locations, reaching large audiences. More About This Project »
