Madison Gharghoury
Director, National Partnerships
Madison Gharghoury is the Director of National Partnerships at the Center for Community Progress. Collaborating with program teams, Gharghoury plays a crucial role in leading and articulating the impact, mission, and goals of Community Progress to external partners and funders. In this role, she ensures Community Progress can showcase equitable, efficient, and effective strategies to prevent and address entrenched property vacancy and revitalize communities.
Gharghoury’s experience spans project management, policy and research, nonprofit administration, and advocacy. She has made significant contributions to various organizations, including restructuring the largest adult education program and literacy agency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Gharghoury has also played a key role in education, research, and project management for the University of Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Research Team and the Pennsylvania Department of Education Policy Office. Additionally, Gharghoury is a Data & Evaluation Fellow with the League of Women Voters of the United States.
At Community Progress and throughout her career, Gharghoury has focused on building relationships that lead to meaningful impact in communities nationwide. Whether cultivating relationships within the organization, with external partners, or with residents, she believes that success is intricately tied to the support of others, emphasizing respect, trust, and authenticity.
Gharghoury holds a Master of Public Policy from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. A proud New Jersey native and devoted New York Rangers fan, Gharghoury is based in Washington, DC.
