Love Your Block Mini-Grant Program

The Love Your Block Mini-Grant Program offers small grants to neighborhood-based organizations in our target areas for volunteer projects that address vacant, abandoned, and deteriorated properties. Awarded grants are up to $2,000 and can cover projects from lighting vacant lots, to painting murals, or planting a community garden. To date, the program has supported over 30 new projects, including 15 vacant lot conversions. Volunteers have logged nearly 10,000 hours of trash removal, tree planting, art installations, and other activities.

Small grant programs like this can jumpstart residents interested in improving their neighborhoods and can help residents find the activations and uses that serve their community best.
