Technical Assistance Senior Advisor
Kim S. Graziani serves as Technical Assistance Senior Advisor at the Center for Community Progress (Community Progress), America’s nonprofit leader for turning “Vacant Spaces into Vibrant Places.”
Graziani oversees, coordinates and delivers a diverse range of technical assistance and capacity building services to communities across the country. To date, Graziani and her team have served over 300 communities in over 30 states.
Prior to joining Community Progress, Graziani served as a key advisor and liaison between local government, the nonprofit and private sectors, and residents as the Director of Neighborhood Initiatives for the City of Pittsburgh. She was instrumental in developing innovative strategies for the productive reuse of vacant and abandoned properties that prioritized authentic community engagement and neighborhood preservation, creating wealth-building opportunities for some of Pittsburgh’s most vulnerable residents.
Prior to her work with the City of Pittsburgh, Graziani spent several years working for community development corporations, foundations, and social service agencies in Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and New York City.
Graziani received her Master’s Degrees in Public Administration and Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh where she served as part-time faculty. She works out of the National Office in Washington, DC and lives in Baltimore City.
