Crystal Stevens is the Program Associate for Leadership & Education at Community Progress, America’s nonprofit leader for turning “Vacant Spaces into Vibrant Places.”

Stevens works within the National Leadership and Education division to assist in implementing programs that foster strong, equitable communities where vacant, abandoned, and deteriorated properties are transformed into assets for the community. Prior to joining the organization, Stevens worked as a Site Coordinator for Healthy Housing Solutions, providing data analysis and grantee management for one of their numerous community programs.

Stevens has a background in the Housing and Urban Development sector, previously serving as a Resident Services Coordinator, facilitating resources to support local housing authority residents. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina and enjoys spending her free time connecting with nature.
