Crystal Stevens
Program Associate, Education, Leadership, and Engagement
Crystal Stevens is the Program Associate for the Education, Leadership, and Engagement team at the Center for Community Progress. She is an energetic, creative optimist who is passionate about helping educate audiences about the significance of tackling vacant properties and advancing neighborhood revitalization.
In her role, Stevens supports programming and events for engaging initiatives including the Community Revitalization Fellowship, Resident’s Workbook, and Delta Rising Initiative. She is passionate about understanding what residents need to improve their neighborhoods and providing the tools and services to create the community they wish to see.
Stevens is dedicated to promoting equity and justice in areas that are systematically underprivileged. Prior to Community Progress, Stevens worked as resident services coordinator for a local housing authority which fostered her passion in community engagement and community-centered design.
Stevens received a Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina. She is based in Columbia, South Carolina.
