Wilimington Alliance

The Wilmington Alliance is a collaborative organization aimed at community wealth creation and neighborhood revitalization. What began as an endeavor to engage neighborhood residents in a revitalization plan for two vacant lots that had sat unused and inaccessible for decades, the alliance continues to convene organizations and resources around specific projects. They use a multi-part and multi-level engagement and collaboration model to develop vacant lot reuse and creative placemaking projects, support workforce development programming, and provide entrepreneurship and small business support.
