Lauren Frechette is the Manager of Human Resources and Culture at the Center for Community Progress.

As a champion of equity, diversity, and social justice, Frechette ensures the staff at Community Progress have the tools necessary to thrive in their shared mission promoting and sustaining meaningful and impactful initiatives to transform vacant spaces into vibrant places.

Frechette began her career in the education field, growing from classroom teacher to administrative leader. As an education administrator, she presented at conferences nationally about educational technology program implementation and instructional practices development, championing innovation and diversity both in the classroom and within school communities. After leaving education, Frechette moved into the nonprofit space, where she worked in human resources as a member of the onboarding and training team. In this role, Frechette revamped the onboarding process, empowering employees to take ownership of their unique gifts in the workplace, grow their skillsets, and advocate for meaningful employee experiences. She is based in Florida.
