Mallory Rappaport
Program Associate, National Land Bank Network
Mallory Rappaport is the Program Associate for the National Land Bank Network (NLBN) at the Center for Community Progress. Leveraging her robust background in data and project management, she coordinates data collection, research, and programming for NLBN to provide support and resources to land banks across the country that are addressing vacant, abandoned, and deteriorated property challenges.
At Community Progress, Rappaport is an integral analyst supporting both the NLBN and Technical Assistance teams with deep data analysis, GIS mapping, development of the biennial State of Land Banking Survey and updates to the National Land Bank Map.
Previously, Rappaport worked as a housing data analyst for the Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership where she managed internal data and created tools for primary program operations and special projects, including their emergency rental assistance program. Her experience also includes research, communications, and direct practice work at a variety of legal aid, housing, and economic development nonprofits in Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
She holds a dual Master of Science in Social Policy and Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from McGill University. She is based in Carrboro, North Carolina.
