All across the country, dedicated leaders are working day and night to combat vacancy and transform their communities. From the scrappy grassroots organizers to the forward-thinking public servants to the national thought leaders, together we are building a movement united in the fight against blight.

That’s why, over the last few weeks leading up to the Thanksgiving weekend, we asked you to use #LotsofThanks on Twitter and Facebook to honor individuals or organizations that you think have been real champions in the fight against vacancy and abandonment.

Your response was a true testament to the amazing people working on these issues. You featured neighborhood leaders, local government visionaries, and nonprofit champions, all of whom are dedicated to fighting blight. We’ve shared some of the highlights below, but check out #LotsofThanks on Facebook and Twitter to see all the posts.
